I’m Lina Aris Ficayuma

I grew up in Islamic Boarding Schools Complex, primarily in Pondok Pesantren Yayasan Perguruan Islam Raudlatul Ulum, Guyangan Village, Trangkil District, and Pati, Central Java, Indonesia. After I graduated from SD Negeri Guyangan, Madrasah Diniyah, Madrasah Tsanawiyah, dan Madrasah Aliyah Raudlatul Ulum, I studied at English Education Department of the Universitas PGRI Semarang for her Bachelor Degree. Then, I study Master Degree at English Education Department of Yogyakarta State University. Furthermore, I ever studied at Applied Linguistic Department for one semester. I also ever take student exchange/fellowship program/student visit in University Technology Malaysia, NTU Singapore, and Michigan State University, East Lansing, USA. In addition, she also founders of community library in An Nur Mosque, Pati.
By background in organizing as a chief of coordinator to Fellowship to Enhance Global Understanding (FEGU) for master and doctoral program among Michigan State University, Yogyakarta State University, and incorporate with Linking All Type of Teachers to International Cross-culture Education (LATTICE) community 2015 – 2017 who has focused on intercultural in global English language learning, she take interest on intercultural communication, cross culture understanding, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language (TESOL), TPACK, IDLE, SLA, and English Assessment based on Higher Order Thinking Skills.
Furthermore, I has also been entrusted to be the head of the bureau for research publication studies and community service in the extended family of postgraduate students at Yogyakarta State University 2015 – 2016. She also become reviewer and editor of national journal on research and community service such as: 1) JELTII-STKIP Al Hikmah Surabaya, 2) IJRE-Universitas PGRI Semarang, Wanastra, 3) Lexis-Universitas Tadulako, 4) JoLESAL dan PASAMA-Universitas Jendral Soedirman, dan 5) JATS-YLEN. In 2024, the author as a reviewer and editor for international seminar such as TESOL Conference & Expo 2025 in California, USA; and national seminar at STKIP Al Hikmah Surabaya 2025. She also asked to be data analysis of BRIN 2024 and published some articles which indexed by Scopus, Atlantis Press, , Sinta 2-4, etc.
The author who has been certified on professional public speaking asked to be trainer in English teacher and students training school during school candidacy to school authorize for international baccalaureate schools since 2021 – present, including join on IB South East Asia Summit 2024. Another, she asked to be TOEFL and IELTS Training and Book Development di Primagama, Poltekkes Kendari, STIE Tenggarong, UIN Allaudin Makasar, dll.
The author become invited speaker, presenter, moderator, and master of ceremony in some of workshop, seminar, conference, graduation ceremony, guest lecturing, wedding ceremony, etc such as TEFLIN, ASIATEFL, British Council, Cambridge Press, SEAMEO, Pearson, NIE Singapore, ICONELT- UIN Sunan Ampel, ALLURE-UPGRIS, Writing Center International Forum ITS, IVICOLL Polinema, ICoLLIT UMS, ICSE UPI, etc.
English for business and diplomacy also become her interest. She ever selected as presenter in Asian Youth Model United Nation, Organization of Islamic Cooperation for Egypt, Interfaith Discussion: Religious inter-connectivity between Indonesian and the US students 2017, Debriefing forum of Indonesian diplomat 2018, Celebaration of Finland and Indonesia 70^th Diplomacy Relation 2024, etc.
I ever joined at English Conversation Club (ECC) who collaborate with Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA)-AMINEF and Kangguru Magazine; and collaborative teaching with the international teacher in the AIESEC program and Peace Corps Indonesia.
She ever taught at Primary School, Junior High School, Senior High School, Vocational High School, and International College Students. Now, I ama translator, interpreter, and a lecturer at English Education Department of Al-Hikmah Teacher Institute Surabaya, Indonesia.
